Dear Colleagues,

We invite your students to participate as research subjects in “Volunteer
Science”, a website for conducting large-scale behavioral experiments.
Volunteer Science provides an easy way for students to participate in
social and behavioral science experiments, and for academic researchers to
collect data at a scale and level of detail never before possible. If you
are teaching a class with a research participation requirement, please
consider including a link to Volunteer Science (
http://www.volunteerscience.com) on your syllabus and encouraging your
students to fulfill their research participation requirements online.

Instructors can verify student participation in experiments with automated
PDF reports that students generate themselves. For more information about
how students can generate a certificate of participation and how you can
verify its authenticity, please see these instructions and example report:
http://volunteerscience.com/how_to_certificate/

All of the experiments on Volunteer Science are part of on-going academic
research and have been reviewed and approved by the IRB at Northeastern
University.

Sincerely,

The Volunteer Science Team at Northeastern University
