Call for Papers: CITAMS Special Issue of iCS Did you have a paper accepted at the American Sociological Association or at the Media Sociology Symposium in 2021 or 2022? If so, you are invited to submit your paper for consideration in a special issue of the journal Information, Communication & Society (ICS). For the 16th year, ICS will publish a special issue featuring papers accepted at the annual meeting. This is the first year that we have expanded eligibility to include not just the current year but also the previous year. Only papers accepted at the 2021 or 2022 ASA meetings or Media Sociology Symposia are eligible for this special issue. Other papers may be submitted to the regular issues of ICS. The special issue welcomes papers that focus on any facet of media, technology, communication, information, or related topics. ICS is a highly ranked, interdisciplinary journal that brings together current research on the social, economic, and cultural impacts of new information and communications technologies. The journal positions itself at the center of contemporary debates about the information age. Submissions must conform to the ICS guidelines, are limited to 8,000 words (all inclusive), and must be submitted via Scholar One<https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/rics>. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. Be sure to check the box for Special Issue and indicate “CITAMS” in it, so that it will be routed appropriately.
