Dear CITAMS Members, I am writing to you with a couple of corrections and an update regarding this year’s call for award nominations. First, I inadvertently forgot to include the email addresses of Book Committee members. They are listed below and have been updated on the web site (https://citams.org/citasa-awards/). More importantly, this year’s CITAMS William F. Ogburn Career Achievement Award Committee will be awarding the Mid-Career Achievement Award in 2021. The Mid-Career and Lifetime Awards are given out in alternating years. Additionally, the CITAMS Council has approved new eligibility guidelines for the Mid-Career Award: “scholars who received their Ph.D. not less than 10 years nor more than 20 years prior to receipt of the award are eligible.” The updated call for nominations is below and will be updated on the web site shortly. Those who received their Ph.D. for more than 20 years will be eligible for the Lifetime Career Award to be awarded again in 2022.
